Kandy joined Open Door Children’s Ministry in March of 2018. Born and raised in Bakersfield, California, she attended the local High School and Bakersfield College. She’s currently employed with Apple Inc. and owner of, As You Wish Events, but her passion has always been children, serving the Lord and his people. Kandy began by serving in the Women’s Ministry and is thrilled to join Open Door Kids. She is blessed with a loving family and husband of 31 years. In her free time, she loves to hike, enjoys being outdoors and can spend hours staring at the ocean.
